We deployed the virtual machine scaleset server(Linux) under the application gateway with a JSON script. Which is working fine.

We want to check the scale-up process so we tried to load test the vmss server by logging into it. We used a jump server to login inside the vmss server. Then we found that there is internet connectivity there. Please help us solving the issue.

It's possible that the Network Security Group that's attached to the scale set Virtual Machine does not contain an outbound rule for port 80 which allows HTTP traffic. It's worth checking the Network Security Group to see if this rule exists. I would also recommend making sure the Linux operating system's firewall is allowing HTTP traffic.
