I have a remote system which needs to be boot-up or wake up every day and shutdown. The remote system in third floor, My local system is in first floor. I am able to shutdown the remote system from my local system. How can I boot-up the remote system from my local system
through C# or WMI.

Since the system is shutdown, there is no program that is working. so to my knowledge i dont think its possible

No, you cannot. Isn''t that obvious? Your working system is on the first floor, and a sleeping remote system is on the third. Two floors difference in potential energy. The electrons hardly can have enough energy to reach the level which is two floors up. And those which can won''t be energetic enough to wake up the whole system. Compare the difference in electric potential with difference in gravitation energy, and you will see it by yourself. The computer you want to wake up should be on the same level as your working computer or lower; in worst case, it could be one floor up, no more, but in this case the wake-up may need several attempts to work out with reasonable probability.
