I  have a custom list and a custom Document library. I have created one Item Event Receiver, it is like when we attached a file it will be saved to that document library, this is working fine.

The other thing I want is while attaching the document there should be options like dropdownlist and that values will be saved in document library in a column.

like for attachment 1 , I select the options as type1 and it should save the document and update the type column.

for attachment 2, type 2

for attachment 3, type 3

after saving the attachment with other values in document library, I want the list attachments to be deleted.

Hi,

Out of the box it is  not possible you will need to create customize form of your document library . One is upload.aspx and second is Allitems.aspx
