I'm having trouble retreiving all data when using a query in Power BI against Application Insights API. When querying in the Azure Portal / Log Analytics I get different results from Power BI.

There is no sampling done, so the messages are intact. The query looks like this

I'm expecting to get about 2 million messages querying traces, but I only get about 30k. The most confusing thing is that the less specific filtering I have, the less data I receive.

So my question is, are there any limitations on how much data the API can export, can I change the limit? Any help would be great!

There are 3 ways that the volume of data you send is limited:

• Throttling (which limits the data rate to 32,000 events per second)
