I have very simple question: Why Digest authentication in WCF requires Windows Domain? We can further extend this question: Why digest authentication provided by MS tools requires Windows Domain? The Digest authentication specification doesn't require any domain so that is pure MS limitation - actually very bad and blamed limitation.
