I have an sql table "test" with a field "details". i can retrieve the value stored in that field using c sharp. But i want to view the text in a pdf file without saving that file anywhere...is it possible?

Unfortunately you have can only view the PDF in the ReportViewer which is a very very bad PDF Viewer, you have to save the File temporarily to open it in Adobe.
There are plenty other and better Framworks, like Crystal or Active Report. Maybe there are also Frameworks to stream PDF into a WinForms, but i never used one.
