I have a SharePoint list edit item NewForm.apsx set as default for 'new'

In the fields I have : Requestor, Checkout Date, Comments

When the user fills those in and clicks 'OK' it brings them to the list with the input information.

I would like to edit the checkout date field so that when the user clicks the calendar icon they cannot make a selection before the current date+1 and also cannot go past 7 days

So I was going about it and editing the column in my list with a calculated value, which probably won't work because I need to edit the checkout date I think.

I'm fairly new to sharepoint and editing the html code, I have SharePoint designer which is where I'm sure I'll need to create this at.
