i tried to install my ZTE MF190 3g dongle on Ubuntu 12.04. it required qt3 runtime library. i got it from packages.ubuntu.com and tried to install it, but qt3 in turn required libc6 >=2.4 which in turn required libgcc1 which in turn required something else and so on.
is there some real solution to this problem. i can''t access wifi and also internet on ubuntu in any way after all i was installing that driver to use my dongle to connect to internet which i am not able to do presently. please help.

also there are 2 network menus appearing on the top. can 1 be removed.

also i can''t use wifi and bluetooth. even if its on by hardware switch it still can''t be switched on from ubuntu.

So many problems but the first one is the main one. please help. thanks in advance.

Instead of using the dialer I used the native GSM Broadband service in the Networking menu which allowed me to connect to the internet. After connecting to the internet I updated ubuntu so now after the update the dialer is successfully running. the problem with wifi still persists so i am now using dual boot to run windows 8 cp alongside on which i can use Wifi.
