We have a requirement where our business users want to search in people picker the way it searches in outlook and resolves, for example if I search "and, kent" in outlook and click check names it will show me options available like "Anderson , kent" , " Andrew kent" and so on but in sharepoint it displays as "No Match found". The search engine should be intelligent enough to search these things, this issue is mostly faced when we use this control on some forms

In SharePoint, we cannot use "," to split the first name and last name for searching users.

Please try "and kent".
