We have sharepoint standalone installation on the 2012 server which has a claim based authentication site. From last one month we are facing intermittent login issue with the Sharepoint site which is temporarily gets resolved by opening the site from central admin and saving the site configuration.

while looking at the event log we found that the worker process is crashing with EventID 1000 (W3WP.exe) error below. The error 1000 entries also mention some failed DLLs such as mscorwks.dll, combase.dll & ntdll.dll. Some windows updates were installed on the server after which the issue started occuring.

Any solution for this issue?

I would ask you to check the memory consumption and CPU utilization of the server and figure out which process is eating lot of those at the time when W3WP crash. Verify the IIS logs to get in more details of the issue.Use DebugDiag tool to get the dump and analyze the cause of the issue.
