Actually, I had a Asp.net website having one extensionless URL. It was working fine but suddenly it''s stops working and it''s redirecting to http 404 Page. Website hosts on IIS 6.0 on server for .Net framework 2.0.
We have used Aspdotnetstorefront in our website and also used Aspdonetstorefront URLRewriter dll for redirecting.

Obviously, the file extension does tell IIS how to process a file, so web pages do have file extensions. If your dll ''stopped working'', then odds are the code changed, or the setting in IIS or your web.config that loads this dll has been removed. We can''t really do more than guess when you posted no code, but either the dll changed, or the configuration changed so the dll is not being used, those are the only options.
