I have an application that has been working for some time now. It is a full trusted XPAB application that connects to a web service for all database data. The web service is on on the same server as the application.

Recently I have encountered a problem with various users. For some reason there is a timeout connecting to the web service. If you go to the web address from the machine and go to the web service, it is there. If you execute the function on ther server, it is instantanious. But if the XPAB application tries to connect, it times out. And it takes it's full minute to come back saying that it timed out.

This does not happen all of the time. I have an application on the web, and only one person cannot connect up. We disabled firewall and virus scanner, and it is still the same.

I am having the same problem now if I try to connect up to a web service on another machine. I can add the web service correctly, and it gets all of the functions. But when I try and run the app, it timesout. I reconnected to a web service on my local machine, and it worked.

Can you give the binding configuration on both ends? Perhaps there is some issue in your binding. What is the OS you are using?
