i used calender extender control so when i placed cursor on particular date that should display in color

These is a property CssClass defined for the calendar. This CssClass is defined with a all the styles that needs to be applied.
Referring to the default CSS file that you can find in the Toolkit solution, in the "AjaxControlToolkit\Calendar\Calendar.css" file.

It has one of the properties as:
.ajax__calendar_hover : This is applied to an element in the DOM above a day, month or year and is used to apply CSS attributes that show a hover state. Child Css classes: .ajax__calendar_day, .ajax__calendar_month, .ajax__calendar_year


You can simply define your own CSS class and override the properties as per your need.
