I have been playing with a list template that modifies the list's view to orient horizontally vs the standard table layout.  And I've had some success by using a ctx.Templates.Fields in a script called from the list's jslink.  I am having a trouble finding a field's name.  This list is passing a parameter off to another list and so I get SharePoint's "record selector" field in a column named "Select".
