Hi,

I have created several SharePoint lists, each list corresponds with a custom Content Type created at the site collection level.

The Title Column for each Content Type is set to "Hidden" so we don't want them to appear on any of the forms.

In addition, each Content Type is selected as the default and set as 1 as part of the list settings for all the SharePoint lists (the default "Item" Content Type is set as not visible and set as 2)

The SharePoint lists and Content Types settings are reflected correctly at the Master Site Template.

So,  the issue I am currently experiencing is when new projects are created off that Master Site Template the settings for the "Title Column" for the default Content Type (within the project) do not remain set as "Hidden" as per the what was configured at the site collection level and Master Site Template. It is set to "Required" instead.

Has anyone come across this type of behaviour before? And does anyone have a workaround or possible solution?

FYI, I have added in addtional Content Types to one of these lists as a test (all of them have "Title Column" set as hidden) the Title Column settings only change for the Content Type that's selected as the default.

Please ensure the Title Column is hidden in the setting of Default content type.
