I'm struggling trying to find the right App Service to accomplish a task (to some degree because the names are so confusing).

I have an ASP.NET Core2 WebAPI that connects desktop apps (WPF and UWP) to a SQL Server. I'm really not up to the task of managing the security (OAuth2, IdentityServer, certificates....), the IIS server and other infrastructure elements.

Once upon a time there was an Azure offering (service or whatever), that was an API that somehow integrated all the things I didn't want to manage (the security) but let me program the controllers, EntityFramework and SQL Server.

I can't find this feature, maybe because it's been renamed or recategorized. (Web APP? App Service?...)

I need the name of the feature that will accomplish this (of course I realize I will need to rewrite some of my code) and maybe the documentation and quick start demo.
