I have a content organizer rule that auto creates folders based on a value from a Lookup field in my documents library, my issue is that it creates the folder name with the format id;value (as it's from a lookup field). Is there any way to format this so it doesn't precede the folder name with the ID

SharePoint reads lookup column field with both ID and Value aims to get unique value for lookup column by default.

As a workaround, I recommend you creating a new normal column with the same value in this library and set this column in content organizer rule.
