I've created some designer workflows associated to a list that creates subsites using REST.

When a new item is added to the list a subsite with unique permissions is created based on the list title. This works fine.

What I have noticed is that the newly created site has no permissions at all. So I need to add an existing 'owners' group and a new members group.

I have discovered a couple of properties called SPWeb.AssociatedMemberGroup and SPWeb.AssociatedOwnerGroup. These are both blank for my new site.  

I 'think' I need to set the AssociatedOwnerGroup to an existing group that exists in the parent site, and a new empty group for AssociatedMemberGroup.

I can create the new members group using rest, but cannot figure out how to grant it permissions on my new site.

I've attached an illustration in case this isn't easy to follow...

I have tried setting associatedOwnerGroup, but nothing changes... maybe I'm not supplying the correct parameters? 

this is an email I send at the end of the workflow so I can see whats happening..
