There's a blog post about how to export an app service SSL certificate to a pfx file. It's very helpful, but because it hardcodes a '\' as a directory separator, it does not work correctly on Linux or CloudShell. I'd love to see it fixed and added to Azure documentation. Or better yet, to the AzureRM Powershell module.

Thank you for posting your feedback on App Service Certificate experience. It’s much appreciated. You can navigate to the KeyVault secret in the Portal UX and download the pfx today.
As mentioned in the same blog (comments section) you are referring to, kindly use this model until we refine our script and change it to CLI. We would share this feedback with the product team to review this request further.
