Create xsd file(dataset.xsd) which returns dataset
in your design page drag a gridview and in gridview properties doubleclick on datasourceID it will open ''Data Source Configure Wizard''.
Now select ''Object'' from the list then OK.
Configure Datasource wizard will be opened, now choose your xsd file name from the dropdown and follow the steps and Finish.
