I want to host my site locally on my laptop only. I want to know, whether i will be able to edit web pages .aspx and others, after hosting them.

It depends, if you have a WebSite rather than a WebApplication, then you can change them while they are hosted. Otherwise, you can just edit tags in your .aspx files and recompilation is not needed.

According to your Question you didn''t deploy your website i mean it''s not DLL files so you still have both .cs file and .aspx so the answer for your Question
