I have use a file upload in modalpopup and when I select a video file from browser of file upload without saving I cancel the modulpopup by click on cancel button of modal popup then modal popup is canceled but web site stops working.
pls give me effective solution.

Try debugging through your code after the cancel button on the popup is hit - does the code throw some error?
Is there some code that closes your db connection?

Please check the following points

1)Connection close
2)Application pool
3)Restart IIS
4)if you are using dataadapter then dispose the dataadapter
5)dispose the reader as well as close the reader

the main thing have you define the page size in the web config file how much you can upload
because when you upload the document the total size=pagesize + document size

I think your workers process is getting currpted mean while uploading the document restart the iis
