No, not from the code. This feature was recently implemented in Firefox (well few months but that''s recent considering the speed at which FF newer versions are coming :)). You can certainly control that from browser settings.

I, as a user accessing a website, will not want to see alerts popping up very frequently. At times it''s annoying.
You may want to reconsider the design of your application. Either show the messages at once; avoid "very frequent" alerts or use a label to show the messages.
