Hello,

I am working on a project with Google Maps API which uses html/javascript. The aim of the project is for the user to enter a location and it displays where the user wants to go.

However, I want to make it specific to an area. That is, the locations to where the user can go will be mapped by me on google maps (google map do not have names for these locations).

Secondly, I also want to be able to display images of each location identified in a separate window from the map.

Because I am mapping my own locations, I will need to have these locations stored so that when a location is entered,the entry is directed to the coordinates stored for these locations. The same is for displaying images, that is, when you want to display the image of the location, you should be able to click on the marker that comes up and you will get the image displayed.

I would be very appreciative if you could provide me with the best and easiest way of doing this. I have been told that PHP would be very useful but I have never used PHP.

Any code that speaks to what I want to achieve is also welcome.
