Hi guys, So I think I have painted myself into a corner with a bit of bad planning.

I have finished my vb.net project and I''m ready to deploy it, but from the outset I never brought the db into the project, but let it reside in a common folder with some other db''s.

So my question is:
Is there a way to bring the db tables "into" the project prior to final deployment,

or

Can I deploy the solution and make it point to the folder where the db tables reside?

Well; so here is the extra info. It''s just a windows forms over data application that has a
couple of forms to interact with the datasource. I didnt hard code anything just used the database
explorer to hook up with the db, when prompted I chose not to incorporate the tables
into the project (regret), the whole thing works ok, does what I want to.

I was thinking in terms of setting an option somewhere to tell the IDE to bring the tables
in before deployment or drag drop or copy paste the tables into the IDE? I have not tried any of these
as I want to field a couple of answers here before I go poking around in the unknown.

The probable answer is no, you are okay. It may be as simple as setting up the configuration to point at the database or it may mean moving the database onto a database server and point your application at it. Really depends on what you''ve actually done but certaily not fatal. Post more details and I, or someone, will take another look.
