Your real issue is to define ''objects''. My articles ( in C# ) talk about edge detection algorithms, but even that is one step removed from finding and defining the bounds of ''objects''. "Bag of words'' relates to a way of processing text data, are your objects text ? Are you trying to find letters, or words ?
