Do you have an idea of what is the PhD or any other dissertation? You really need to bring your own contribution in science or technology.

It''s hard to imagine that you can make an independent contribution based on the idea someone might give you, but in principle, there could be a chance.

More important problem is this:

Well, I don''t have an idea for you right now, but from time to time I have some. If I share this idea with you, who do you thing would be the author of the work? You or me or both? If we both, how can you imagine the collaboration? I hope you can suggest something appropriate.

Should you say that the author is you along (let''s imagine this just for a second, only an assumption), I would call you a cheater and would make sure this statement is publicly known.

Imagine for a second that you think the level of dissertation I pointed out and the attribution of the ideas is not really required (again, just for a second). In this case, I would say that you dissertation is a fraud, and you would not deserve any degree at all, not even the one you already got.

Sorry for bad assumptions. Again, they were purely hypothetical, just because we do not chat interactively. I will be delighted if you proof me wrong, of course.
