I am researching the best way to source-control the SQL Server files. And I also understand that SQL Server 2008 facilitates to create projects for our scripts.

So, what ius an ideal way to source-control SQL Server scripts? Should we put it in some Source-Control software like SourceSafe? If there is a SourceControl software, give me some pros and cons, if not then advice what would be an ideal way.
