i am having 35 rows in a excel sheet.. i need to upload the datas from excel sheel...
while checking for duplicates i am getting error as input string was not in a correct format...while i had checked with breakpoints, i came to know that,its binding one blank row.. how to eliminate this?

I would not work directly from an Excel spreadsheet. Excel spreadsheets have very weird formatting issues when importing and exporting data. I would get your data from the spreadsheet, into a database, and work with the data from there.

I sometimes will format ALL data from the spreadsheet as text/string upon export to a db or dump file and then re-format as needed.

Ultimately, I would do everything I could to eliminate Excel as a working data store.
