Am using WIA for scanning an image in C# winform application.Everything is working fine except the image size.One page itself getting 1.3Mb size.I can reduce the size near 600kb using the wia property(DPI) the image is not clear.But if we scan the same image as usual method its size only below 300 kb and also its very clear.How can i reduce the image size?Please give me replay.

check the default properties of the scanner... while you scan it through the application provided by the company... and try to set all of of them.. I hope it will work for you....

Actually am trying to build an application for scanning a multipage file Using WIA.If we set the Scanner property externally it is not working in my application.It will scan the page with more than 1 mb size.if scan it externally no problem for the size and clarity for the same scanner and page.
