Are you sure you need Java code on PC? Such code would be not quite simple. How about using a ready-to-use streaming service? If interested, try to use VideoLAN, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VideoLAN[^], http://www.videolan.org/[^], http://www.videolan.org/vlc[^].

This is an Open Source product which can stream nearly anything nearly anywhere. It can also be used as a player, format converter, etc.
