i have an application with vb.net, it contains two projects.
the first project is a database management application and the second one is for setup

when i install the application with setup.exe created from the setup project, the installation completed successfully but the application seems not updated to the new version.

i''ve checked the installation path, i found that the modification date of the exe file is an old one.

please help.

解决方案我用过:

the solution that i used:
project properties -> application -> assembly information ->
1-make the assembly version ended with *
2-and the file version should be increased manually each time before changing the version of the setup project and building it.
