2)从我的WebApplication(ASP.net C#)向我的朋友列表发送消息.消息将出现在facebook的消息部分

Requirement
1) Send friend request from my WebApplication(ASP.net C#)
2) Send message to my friendlist from my WebApplication(ASP.net C#). Message will appear in there message section of facebook

Kindly suggest the best way to accomplish this.

Yes, I have googled for facebook API but I have confusion on some of following points

1. Application development for Facebook platform comes up with 2 choices, one is canvas and another is connect. What is difference between canvas and connect?

2. What is IFrames and FBML? Are they different?

3. I have one application which sends mails and sms to the client. Management have asked me to send messages on client facebook. So i want to send Facebook message on same button click event from the webpage which is used to send mails and sms. Is this possible?

4. As per my understanding, we need to register our application in facebook developer section. So in my case to send message in facebook, Do i have need to register my application in facebook developer section?

5.Which option is more suitable in my case(IFrames or FBML)?

6. How can we send friend request through third party application?
