why was my answer downvoted by other members of CodeProject?
this is two much of insulting me. I answered how many questions posted by oher members of code project.


Let''s work to help developers, not make them feel stupid. i only means that. i didnt insulting any one as i gave answer to questions

It''s not obvious from looking at it, but it is possible that someone thought that "1" was good and "5" was bad - I have had people mark my solution as solved, thank me profusely and vote me a one before! :laugh:

Check your reputation detail by clicking on the current reputation number beside you username at the top left of the screen - if the down vote is a low negative then it is likely this has happened. If it is a high negative, then you have probably annoyed someone...

I can''t tell you why you exactly why your answers have been was downvoted but may I suggest the following that you try to make your answers more usefull and better presented in the future. Here are some ideas:

1. Many people do not have English as their first language so we all avoid text speak as it can be hard to follow.
2. Its worth considering the how usefull your answer is. If it just repeats someone elses answer with no more detail or perhaps less detail then it may not be well received.
3. Lastly if you answer your own questions people are unlikely to praise you as it may appear that you have asked the question merely to asnwer it and show off.
