Hi not a programmer but know my way round code. Can anyone please assist me. a need to have a map of a English town in visual basic browser that will have icons that are updatable or if you hover over them it will give you a status update. The map has to be available of line and online. It clearly won''t update if offline that said the information is fed to each icon via SQL database. And unless that''s offline then the icons can be updated.
Can anyone assist and possibly provide or direct me to source code ? Need a solution urgently so if there is anyone in the UK available to assist me on the above l would be happy to discuss terms

While Richard is correct in his comment above, here''s a suggestion. Investigate the capabilities provided by Google. There are a lot of websites out there using mashups created in part with Google Maps and Microsoft''s competing service (I forget the name of it). Anyway it''s an idea, and best of luck with it. :)
