Nothing available on VS 2005 is missing from VS 2008. Look properly. If you fail to find some feature, try to ask what exactly you want to do. What do you want to do about layout?


Putting a button in "specified place" is pointless. It can only lead to poorly-designed UI and nearly complete lack of maintainability. You need to avoid using manual coordinates and sized. Always use padded panels with Dock and Padding. Please see my past answers on the topic:
