I must say first that the article is really good, and thank you for it.
I have some question, that maybe someone here can help me to resolve it.
My applicattion must connect with 18 PLC(programming logic controller), but I dont know where is the connections limit using
tcpclient, I dont know if I must connect one by one to the PLC(connect to the first plc, work with it, close the connection,
connect to the second plc, work with it, close the connection...etc) or maybe I can connect the application
with the 18 PLC at the same time and work with the 18 at the same time.

Someone can help me?

There should be no problem opening 18 TCP client sockets. Some OSs will limit the number of incoming connections you can have (to a limit that you might actually hit), but not outgoing.
