I m trying to to connect an sql express database over lan. my connection string is as below.

but unable to connect and throw this exception

the value is true and not ture. Is that a typo?

You may also try using the server explorer and create a connection using the wizard. Use the generated connection string if you are not able to find the issue with your connection string.
