I have to open a popup window just like in java script we open using window.open(''...''), the problem I am facing is that I have to send an Email through asp.net code with a link, and after I click on the link the popup window should be opened. The problem is that in email we can''t execute java script code, so far I am able to only send link using href which open a complete window. Does any body have any idea???

Why do you need to do this sort of thing. It is normally, or should normally, be treated as malicious and the email immediately deleted. I would suggest you send a link to a page that says the same as the email, with relevant details for individual users, and then allows them to click something on the page that then shows the popup. This will both be easier and more reliable (different email servers and client applications will do widely different things), than trying to include JavaScript in an email and also, will appear far less malicious and through directing the user directly through your site, adds authenticity to the email.
