i have a question about Google Search Engine

when i search in google using some text including in my website like (abc) , my website appeared perfectly and the page displayed is home.html .


I changed All my websites Page , created a new website using asp.net,Replaced it with the oldest one , and the website ''s homepage URL now become home.aspx ,
but both the server and the domain are still the same .

Now , When i search again using some text including in my website like (abc),.the old website is appeared and if i click the link ,it goes to home.html again(cannot display page),thats because page don''t exits .

i want that when i search in google , the current update site will be displayed(.aspx) ,and i dont want anything from the oldest one appeared (html).


How can i Do this ,...

The nearest I can make out from your description is that it takes google''s cache takes some time to clear itself. Give it a couple of days and see if it still does it.

BTW, I just googled my domain, and there''s stuff on there from 10 years ago that is no longer valid, and most of it is the result of a link on some other site.

I would recommend to submit a new sitemap to Google where it will then crawl to and update the old pages.
