Just a note: you cannot possibly study this problem in separation from fundamental study of .NET and C#.
So, you need to look for some reading on these topics with good emphasize of data structures.

Also, there are two competing approaches: data structures first and algorithms first. You should understand the domination of one or another approach should be defined by the goals of your projects first of all. If you have overly strong imprinting of one of the approaches, your project may suffer.

By mentioning this, I mean: get ready to embrace the second approach as well, not only the first one, even if the authors of the books you read may strongly emphasize the first approach. Be also ready to understand, consider and utilize the combination of both — flexibility and openness first!
