Is there any way I can add a custom attribute to a paragraph node via the openxml sdk?

ie:
<w:p myid="1" >

The reason is that I would like to include some data in files I generate so that I can import them later and recognize how certain portions of the document relate to data.
Anybody have some information that can help?

I haven''t been able to find anything that will do what I need.
