I am preparing excel sheet and I''m having a problem with some requirements.

In sheet1 I have some columns and rows. In Row1 I have month and year 1/1/2011, and in 3row colm1, colm2, colm3 and etc. Date, Name, value are the column values.

Here what I need: in column1 I''ll give some date, say 1-Jan-2011, and in column2 some date 30-Aug-2011. I need a condition that if the column date is more than 6 months old the entire row should be locked and the background colour should be red, and that row should be disabled for editing formatimg etc.
