I need to export the data in Grid View to an Excel Sheet in VB.Net.
The thing I have done is wroking fine at my local machine but when the same piece of code I upload at Production Server, gives exception that Active X Component can not be find/created.

Please get me path to escape from.

Seriously though. you did not tell us how your grid exporting function/code looks like. From your description you might be using ActiveX, if so, it only works with IE, and most browsers may prevent or ask the user to download it first. So, they may not work in ALL cases out of the box.
