Hello .
I have stereo images(aquatic,underwater) of non uniform background..
i want to generate a linear gredient image with respect to the existing image so that when i will add both the images i will get another image of uniform background as desired.

and Could any body reply how can we find the highest and lowest background pixel values..

Any Algorithm or a bit of code instruction(for C++) would be really helpful..

1.you want to generate a liner gradient image from orginal image .

what u mean by liner gradient of an image ? is that linear
interpolation ?

2. then u adds two images to get a uniform image, and its bakground is uniform , is that means background color is same ? ( say pure white )
