I apologize for the simplicity of my question but I am really just learning. I want a simple application that when opened only has two input options that will reference a basic excel file.
The rationale for the program is when groups of managers go on vacation their 5-10 person teams need to be covered by other managers.
input 1.
Date range: dates you need to be covered by other managers

Input 2:
How many people are on your team

References: one excel sheet of which managers are on PTO/training at any given date.

So you would put in a date range
the program would search through the excel which lists 25 managers vacation days and pick out the number needed. 7,8 9 or 15 how ever many is needed. It would need to remember where it left off so it can cycle back through the next time someone runs it. There are 140 team members and 25 managers so its possible that 3 or 4 managers will run the program getting a list of managers and it will cycle back around giving the same names a couple times.


Any thoughts?
