Hello,

I have configured my project in iis by right clicking->properties->virtual directory tab->application name->create.

But still when I upload it to the actual site(on internet) it gives an error that your website was not configured to run as an application on IIS.

Please help.

Generally this happens when you have more than one Web.Config file in your application root folder.
Just check if you have more than one. If so, remove the duplicate copies.

Please follow steps:

1. Press Window + R and Write inetmgr

2. Right click on Default Web Site

3. Select New >> Virtual Directory..

4. Click Next

5. Enter Alias Name

6. Brose your Project folder path

7. Checked All (if you want)

8. Finish
