Actually I am working on an project and I am stuck with image processing as I have little idea on it.

Actually I want to change the intensity or any character(brightness,Contrast,hue etc.) of each pixel of the image individually and then save it to hard disk .
Then again read the image pixelwise to retrive the properties that i had changed erlier.

Can anyone PLZ help me to figure it out.
