Hi all ,
I am new to vb.net .I have a two questions unanswered . Pls help me to overcome this issue .
1) I can able to retrieve the value from database(MS acess i''m using)to Data grid viewer . But I dono how to add the column values . I want that Total must vary depending upon the query we are doing in Add query option . If you have any knowledge of this pls let me know what is the code and where we have to implement .

2) In Crystal Report How to sort the Datas . say if I want to see the datas of last month or for the range of dates . I want to know the code and the details of where to implement in the application .

Ans 1: I assume by ''Datagrid Viewer'' you mean ''Datagrid'' only. Now, once you retrieve values from DB, you can either directly bind it to the datagrid with AutoGenerateColumns=true. This would automatically add all the columns retrieved to grid or you need to manually add columns one by one. Details here[^].

Ans 2: In Crystal reports, there are options available like ''sorting'' and ''filtering''. You don''t need to write code for them. They are present in crystal designer and you can take use of it directly.
