Ok. After reading CG''s reply, I Googled it. Earlier, thought I was the one who is totally unaware of it.
Well, I was directed to this site[^]. It says:
This is ECG_1.1 project version which can save medical records in to TXT files and can run on Windows XP. It was designed by Georgi Petrov, PhD student in digital automation systems from Bulgaria.

Now, can it be that you are trying to install it on system other than Windows NT, XP, and 2000 operating systems?
Further, did you installed the drivers as mentioned in the link I shared?
